TEKAB CO. LLC, a distinguished member of the esteemed GIBCA group, has been a prominent player in the cable manufacturing industry since its inception in 1990 in the United Arab Emirates. Specializing in production of a diverse range of cables, including instrumentation, control, fire-resistant, and data cables, as well as low-voltage cables, building wires, BMS cables, and special cables, TEKAB has firmly established itself as a reliable and reputable company.
Our state-of-the-art factory is outfitted with cutting-edge machinery and equipment, enabling the production of cables and wires that conform to internationally recognized standards such as IEC, BS, BS EN, UL, VDE, AS/NZ as well as several other international, local and regional developed standards. TEKAB boasts a rich history in the cable manufacturing industry,starting operations in 1990 with a focus on producing a diverse range of cables, including instrumentation cables, building wires,flexible cables and coaxial cables.
To meet the growing demand for its products in UAE and neighbouring GCC countries, TEKAB expanded its operation in 1996.
In 1999, TEKAB became the first company in the region to manufacture fire-resistant and low–smoke halogen-free cables,which offered enhanced safety feature to meet the evolving market needs. This product was marketed under the FIRETEK brand.
In 2006, TEKAB embarked on another expansion phase to accommodate the increasing demand in the GCC market. Their dedication to excellence and quality earned them the approval and trust of major oil and gas companies in the region. TEKAB also secured approval from Saudi ARAMCO for their cathodic protection cables, further cementing their position as a leading supplier in the region.
In order to meet the growing demand for fire resistant cables and to offer clients a cost-effective product without comprising on quality, TEKAB launched the FIRETEK SMART brand in 2023.
